The Fourth Annual Sowles Award Gala is the renewal of our joyous musical event in honor of our beloved Chair of the last Decade, Dr. James Sowles, a visionary who led with his heart, also honoring the late John Treat, for 20 years our New York chairman.
It's also to remember all the other truly magnificent souls who have been part of GAAR: Bruce Buckley (The Fantasticks), Henry King, (Peter Pan and The Seagull), Marion Stegner (The Three Sisters), Porter Perham, (Golden Boy), and Anne Harbison, (Peter Pan, You Can’t Take It With You), along with two of our great supporters, Ambassador Alan Lukens and Francey Hayes.
